5 Events That You Must Attend At COEP’s MindSpark ’17

One of the most reputed and Pune’s largest technical fest MindSpark is back with its eleventh edition. A student initiative of College of Engineering Pune, MindSpark was started with the aim to expose students to the advancement of technology and inspire minds to innovate. This year MindSpark is under the patronage of UNESCO, Digital India, Make in India and Startup India and the theme is ‘Towards Techno-Utopia’ where they aim to embark on a journey of creating an ideal society using technical knowledge that they have gained as engineers.

So mark the dates -22nd-24th September- and be a part of the most enthralling technical fests of our country.

The Pro Night

As always, MindSpark has been hosting enthralling and exciting music bands every year. Last year, Coke Studio with Lagori ruled the hearts as students grooved to the best of music and had the best evening ever. This year get ready to dance till you drop!

The Keynote Speakers

One of the most attractive parts of MindSpark are the keynote lectures conducted by distinguished personalities who come from different fields and inspire young minds to think big. P.Chidambaram, Christopher Benninger, Matheiu Weiss, Prithviraj Chavan are a few names who have conducted keynotes at COEP.

The Pilot Edition of Technical Exhibition

Do you dream to make your own startup? If yes, then do come and witness a wide range of startups showcasing fresh talent and resourceful engineering.

Have you ever had an obsession with robots? Do you wish to create one and make it do whatever you want? Then Robustus is just the right event for you! RoboWars (survival of the fittest); Search N’ Destroy (follow the trail, tread the obstacles and emerge as undefeated); Bot wrestling (stay in the ring and push your opponent out to win); Dog fight (the strongest and most flexible wins) and Virtual robotics (simulation of real robots in the virtual world), can it get better than this?

For the first time MindSpark is conducting a national level quiz, Indikya. Already conducted in Nagpur, Goa & Bangalore, this is the best platform to test how much you know about our country and set yourself above from all the Indo-scholars out there!

I don’t think there’s any reason left to miss out on MindSpark ’17, right?

Stay tuned with us for more exciting updates on the fest.
