 MASSOC (Management Association):

Keeping Essence of Management in the true sense is the Management Association (MASSOC);  a group of management students who come together and sweat it out to make INTERFACE as big as it is. It is geared towards hosting management related activities with a desire to put management into practice. Under the purview of MASSOC are the following clubs: Marketing, Finance, Operations, HR, Industry Linkages, etc.

 MARKETING CLUB (Vishwast):

                                        

 

One of the most sought after club for students with creative bent of mind and zeal to become the next marketing messiah. Students pour in their marketing ideas; conduct one-of-a-kind events, discuss best practices and tactics to give learning a whole new dimension. The club represents the spirit of creativity and boasts of people who can think on their feet. Learning the art of conviction blended with best-of-the-breed practices with an input from the industry leaders, this club stands out in terms of ingenuity.

 

Blog FINANCE CLUB (Finomaniac):

                                        

 

What better way to understand and speak the language of money? Given the love of young minds to learn the intricacies of stock markets, this club is quite popular amongst the students. If you have a penchant for the money markets and have always wondered about the mechanics behind the driving force of financial world, this club will give you spectrum of opportunities to learn. Tie up’s with the best in the industry, guest lectures, online talks, annual events give students a broader perspective and keeps them up to date and one step ahead.

 

 HR CLUB (Manav):

                                               

 

HR Club focuses on keeping the students in sync with latest happenings in HRD in various sectors of the economy. The club members aim to organize various seminars, conferences, debates etc. to enhance the relevant skills required in the field of personnel management. It also focuses on facilitating live projects, increasing corporate interaction and brainstorming on current issues pertaining to Human resources.

 

OPERATIONS CLUB: 

                                               

 

The Club aims to raise awareness, interest, and knowledge about Operations as a discipline among the management students. The Club is dedicated to provide opportunities for the members to learn about the fundamentals of Operations management and provide a platform for networking with professional experts in the field of Operations and Supply Chain Management. The club continuously strives towards creating Industry ready operations managers.

 

Reflexionar Management Magazine and

Reflexionar is a management magazine under the aegis of Management Association, BITS-Pilani. The magazine is driven by students of MBA program, BITS-Pilani under the mentorship of esteemed faculty of the Department of Management. The inception of Reflexionar was to have a common platform through which students, professionals and researchers can share their knowledge, views and experience to reduce the time to market their talent. Consequently, the first edition of the magazine was launched in August, 2012 which was widely appreciated by all the readers. The magazine presents the holistic view on the diversified management domains addressing the contemplative realities of the present business environment.

 

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, BITS Pilani is an all-India Institute for higher education. Established in the early 1900s as a small school, it blossomed into a set of colleges for higher education, ranging from the Humanities to Engineering until 1964 when all these colleges amalgamated to culminate into a unique Indian University of International standing. Over the years, BITS has provided the highest quality technical education to students from all over India admitted on the basis of merit. Its graduates may be found throughout the world in all areas of engineering, science and commerce.

While focusing on catering to the education of 2,698 students, the Birla Institute also focuses on other activities to inculcate learning outside the classroom. Interface, one of the many events organized by the students, is a thirty three year old All India Management convention. The BITS Model United Nations Conference (BITSMUN) is one of the largest MUN conferences of its kind in the Indian Subcontinent. It attracts experienced and first time MUN participants from colleges and schools all over the globe.

BITS-Pilani Open Sports Meet is the annual sports competition at the Pilani campus, inviting a number of colleges to participate in indoor and outdoor events. Since its 2010 Silver Jubilee (25th) anniversary, BOSM has invited a team from Moratuwa University in Sri Lanka, making it an International Event.
