Kamla Nehru College

Established in 1964 as ‘Government College for Women’ and housed in Defence Colony, Kamala Nehru College was renamed as ‘Modern College for Women’ in 1966. It moved to its present location in 1974 and was finally christened its present name. Today the college stands tall as one of the best ‘All Women College’ in the south campus of University of Delhi striving sincerely to shine on all fronts from academia to sports & cultural activities. With 15 departments and 25 co-curricular societies, the college ensures a holistic learning environment for its students.

The college is known for their annual festival ‘Ullas’ which is a two day extravaganza of a plethora of activities ranging from high tension debate competitions to stylish fashion shows.
