The art of photography has inspired numerous people all over the world, especially college students, for whom it has become a unique way of expressing themselves. We have already featured two such amazing talents on our Boombox, Deeksha & Bhoomika, and since there is absolutely no dearth of skillful photography enthusiasts in this city, we bring to you the works of another such visual storyteller.

Kanika Kishnani is a third-year mass media student at Jai Hind College who has been practising photography for the last three years. Kanika’s love for this art was passed down to her from her grandfather, who was himself a photographer, and she wished to pursue and live his dreams.

‘Danbo in Mumbai’ is the name of her brilliant photo series. Coming from Ajmer, Kanika has found herself a new life and home in Mumbai, and this series is her interpretation of the city from an outsider’s perspective, with Danbo being a reflection of herself.

Check out her splendid work:

We can’t wait to see more of Kanika’s superb work in the future!
