February brings with it Deepwoods, the inter-collegiate cultural festival of Madras Christian College, Chennai. Started in 1980, Deepwoods has only become bigger and better with each passing year. So much so, the organisers expect crowds of over 30,000 enthusiastic college goers from all over the country.
Highlights of this festival include EDM performances and a light music show. The curtains fall with a Rock concert on the third and final day with the headlining act being among India’s leading bands- Parikrama, Pentagram, The Killer Tomatoes, Them Clones, Motherjane, and Avial all, being the various acts that have graced the stage over the decades.
Deepwoods is smooth blend of culture and art that you don’t want to miss. February 3rd, 4th and 5th are the days to look out for.
