Talent is pouring in from all parts of the country, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring it all to you. After breaking to you the incredible singer from Delhi – Uday Manhas, we’re back this week with a talented dancer from Bhopal.

Meet Gagan Chellani, a student of Jagran Lakecity University Bhopal, who knew the day he saw Michael Jackson dance that he was going to pursue dance professionally when he grows up.  Even though he started performing on stage as a little boy of grade four, he remembers his first ‘accidental’ solo performance from grade nine.

One of my seniors who was considered the star at school was supposed to perform on Teachers’ Day but just a day before the event, he showed up with his leg broken. Having no other option left, the teacher asked me to prepare a piece and perform the next day. I remember practicing all night and even walking up on stage the next morning with butterflies in my stomach. Sure enough, I blanked out right after the first step and made up everything impromptu!

However, this experience did not stop the determined dancer. Soon after, he went on to perform at an event organized by Dainik Bhaskar followed by IIM Indore’s Atharv & at Ravindra Bhavan, Bhopal.

Watch him perform right away:

Talking about what inspires him to perform, Gagan says,

I’ve always been inspired by people who see life with a different vision. There’s something special about being an artist. As one, I’ve always believed that my art would be a medium to reach some higher purpose in life. I smile whenever I look back at myself, I never saw myself working so hard for anything.

This superb dancer is going to be performing at Atharv again and will also be at IIT Bombay’s Mood Indigo. Currently, he is working on his YouTube Channel and is going to be putting up some pretty interesting things, make sure to check it out.
