Hot Happenings: Heart & Sole Run, Srishti Film Fest, & More

Every week, gives you a list of festivals you absolutely must not miss. No matter which city you may be in, there’s a good chance we’ve got you covered- at least in the department of fun. From the amazing Heart and Sole Run to Taabeer, here are this week’s best festivals!


Srishti International Short Film Festival


heartAnother year, another fresh batch of brilliant minds coming together to create stories. The fraternity of CV Raman College of Engineering, Bhubaneshwar, magnanimously welcomes you to Odisha’s largest short film festival, Srishti 2018.

In the four years since Srishti’s inception, the fest has seen renowned film actors and public figures, including National Awardee Sabyasachi Mohapatra, at their events. The most exciting part of the fest is that it has received participation from all over the country – that’s so many months of hard work, ideas from the smallest towns to the biggest cities, all coming together to celebrate the beauty of short films. 

Note: the fest dates have been postponed to the 23rd – 25th of March.

The Heart and Sole Run

heartThe Rotaract Club of Fr.  Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering, Bandra, is a popular student chapter and is founded in affiliation to the Rotary Club of Bombay, Bandra. They in association with Bigger Than Life, will be conducting The Heart and Sole Run, their initiative to give back to the society, the lesser fortunate brothers and sisters, by continuing the legacy of Rotaract CRCE.

Taabeer 2.0

The festive season of University of Delhi is back and so is Sepia, the film and photography society of Daulat Ram College, with its annual fest, Taabeer 2.0. The most awaited photography exhibition of the year, it is the outcome of a year’s worth of hard work of the society members of Sepia.

They also have on-the-spot competitions, quizzes, and surprises, all for you. What are you waiting for? Head over to Daulat Ram College on the 26th and 27th of February!
