Here’s Why Pravega ’18 Is Going To Be A Blast

Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore celebrates its annual science & cultural fest, Pravega, on the 19th to 21st of January. Here are three (of the many) reasons why you should spend your weekend on their gorgeous campus!

pravegaThe three-day fest has something in it for everyone. There’s Hackathon with a prize with 70,000 INR to be won, cultural events like Proscenium, their theatre event, gather participants from all over the country. There is also Decoherence, the biggest physics competition at the undergraduate level, where you could apply your knowledge of physics to real research problems. Pravega also inaugurates its first Open Mic event – and considering the vigour with which the organising committee executes all their events, this one is definitely something to look forward to.

pravegaFrom workshops on ethical hacking, to one on augmented reality, Pravega makes sure you also learn new skills at their fest. With so many workshops already going houseful, you may want to hurry up before the seats get booked out! Click here to register yourself for the array of workshops.

Pro Nites

There’s always something to look forward to at IISc’s Pravega. After days chockablocked with activities, Pravega’s pro nites will be headlined by one of India’s leading bands, Kerala-based Thaikkadum Bridge!¬†From Indian classical, to folk, to hard rock, the band has a rich repertoire of humongously popular tracks, and we can only wait for the fun that’s going to ensue.

The Pravega team ensures that you have the time of your lives this weekend, so what are you waiting for?
