Bharati Vidyapeeth is a Deemed university and a group of higher educational institutions established in 1964 by Indian politician and educationist Patangrao Kadam. Bharati Vidyapeeth has campuses across the country with over 70,000 students pursuing their higher education in medicine, nursing, engineering, management, arts and science.
Established in 1983, Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Pune is an engineering and technology oriented institute of higher education established in 1983. The college is a constituent of the Bharati Vidyapeeth University.

With various opportunities in the sports and extracurricular fields, the university ensures that adequate opportunities are given to students of all interests. The College of engineering also organizes the techno-cultural festival- Bharatiyam that draws significant participation from over 6000 students and 110 engineering colleges.
