Indian Institute of Technology Mumbai

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has been long known as one of the finest public engineering and research institutes in the country. Established in 1958 with the first batch of 100 students, IIT Bombay has now grown to have had 39,000 engineers and scientists graduate from the college. It was ranked India’s top university in the QS World University Rankings 2014 and has only maintained the same level of dominance in the cultural aspect of university life.
Asia’s largest college cultural festival with a footfall of 1, 31,000 students from over 1650 colleges, Mood Indigo has become an annual calendar event for students across the country. Now in its 46
th year, the festival has established itself as a platform for the best performing, literary and fine-arts talent as well as the most entertaining acts of the year.
